Many people in Hua Hin say The Sanctuary is one of the best properties in the town, it is

often described as a 'one family luxury resort'. Traditional Thai outside and modern

European inside spread over a 1 rai(1600m2) of old brick terraces and mature tropical

gardens enclosed on all sides for complete privacy. Located in a small quiet soi but only

10 minutes from the town centre.

There are several buildings ranged over the property; main house, guest house, two staff

houses, gym, car port, covered bar and three covered salas plus a large walk in pool and

the largest koi pond in Hua Hin. The property was completely renovated summer 2014 so

is fresh and functional.

The main house has a comprehensive European kitchen, lounge/diner with 3D TV, study

with balcony and two bedrooms. Two guest suites, each with its own entrance, are housed

in a separate building, the gym is in yet another building. There is a large covered dining

sala with Thai kitchen, BBQ and pizza oven attached to the main house, perfect for diner

parties or a romantic candle lit evening. The other two salas serve the pool and the pond

and offer shade at different times of the day.

All bedrooms are on-suite with walk-in deluge showers, the master also has a Jacuzzi air

bath. All taps have hot and cold. All bedrooms have wall mounted TV, fitted wardrobes,

dressing table and king sized beds. All rooms have air-con and ceiling fans.

You can relax or entertain round the pool with 6 sun beds and 2 swing chairs. The pool

also has a jacuzzi and a swim jet(for if you have not had enough exercise in the gym). The

pond has a waterfall and 25 large multi-coloured koi carp, a perfect place to relax with a

book and a glass of wine.

The bar is a favourite with many of the current owners friends and has a beer/wine cooler

and, most important, a pool table.

The gym is fully equiped with power treadmill, excercise cycle, cross trainer, multi-gym and

a bench with some free weights. Also TV and air-con.

There is wi-fi and an alarm system although tradional Thai metal grills keep the property

secure. With external lighting throughout and garden floodlights the property looks

spectacular at night.

The rental includes two full-time staff who live on the property, the wife cleans and does


laundry(including yours), towels are changed every day, bedding every other day. The

husband maintains the house, gardens, pool and pond. They work 8-12 and 1-4 every day

except Sunday but are on call 24/7 for any issues or problems.

So all in all a remarkable property with space to live, space to relax and space to entertain.
